Gampola Development Project

Yeah this project is soo special...Bcz this is Gampola urban development project 
The Sri Lanka Government has embarked on a programme of launching urban development projects at the village level countrywide granting the much needed facilities to the people. Accordingly The Gampola Urban Development Project launched under vision of Gangasiripura Navodaya took place under the auspices of Minister Nimal Siripala de Silva. Former Prime Minister D.M. Jayaratne & Deputy Minister Ananda Jayaratne joined in this occasion.
The initial construction was mooted with a sum of 192 million. Rupees given by the Urban Development Authority. Several small township development projects were proposed with it. The work was launched centering a land affiliated to the Gampola Railway Station which is owned by the Railway Department. Meanwhile several roads in the Mirigama and Maharagama areas have been carpeted and developed under the rural road development programme.

Is it permissible to work as a Lawyer in Islam?

Most of the Muslims think Islam doesn’t give any permission to work as a lawyer and some of us completely dislike about the law profession. Because they think it involves in referring to something other than the laws of Allaah for the judgement. I think this is completely a misconception. It's sad to think that there are still some societies that exist where parents are concerned and often feel burdened by the pressure of getting their daughters married.
